"We had a wonderful
time, the views from the villa were stunning and we spent many an hour
sitting on the balcony watching the boats go by. We have all returned
much fitter as we like to use local transport as much as possible when
we are away! The local bus drivers got to know us and by the end of
the first week they would automatically stop at the top of the road to
drop us off. The scuba diving which we organised with the German owned
Miev Diving and our trip sea kayaking over the sunken city in Kekov
Bay are some of the most memorable. Guray was at Dalaman to greet us
and provided a very professional transfer service thank you for
recommending him". |

"Everything was fantastic - the villa and location was superb. We fell
in love with Kas, its a very special place. As the mystical barman at
our favourite Jazz Bar said "Turkey is the centre of the world and Kas
is the centre of Turkey." We had some excellent conversations there
well into the night. We loved the people and we loved going up into
the mountains and exploring ancient ruins as if we were the first
people to find them.
As for the eclipse -
truly cosmic. We watched it from the panorama point looking down on
Kas and the sea. The sight of the sun's corona, the instant sunset
and the sound of the shouts and screams coming from us and from Kas
below as the sky went dark will live with us for ever. We didn't
have any special camera equipment but I've attached some photos that
will give you some idea. We did have some special glass to view the
eclipse and take the sun pictures of course.
It was our first time
in Turkey and we definitely want to return. Our special thanks to
Omar, who we missed on our last day.
